Surety Bond Requirements

Michigan Statutes require Surety Bonds be held by the Sheriff and by each deputy of the Sheriff.

The Sheriff's Bond is supposed to be $10,000.00
while Deputy Sheriff's Bonds are supposed to be $2,500.00

While these bonds are for misconduct, they are free from attachment as Isabella County has absolutely no functional method of reporting and investigating allegations of such misconduct.
