Here is the thing… What my family lost would cost significantly more than $50,000 to replace and this doesn’t include irreplaceable items.
“Lockouts” are a crime in Michigan (MCL 600.2918).
Law enforcement, deputy Steinert, participated and enforced our lockout as an “Armed Agent” of the landlord and also as a “State Actor” of Michigan?
Then we have Home Invasion which is a crime in Michigan
Then we have Larceny which is also a crime in Michigan
It is actually 2nd degree Home Invasion (a felony) with the intent to commit felony larceny.
Which leads me to ask…

Did Steinert get paid for his services as armed agent for the landlord?
Did Steinert get to keep my wife's wedding dress or our King Size bed for his participation?
Good questions right?
Was he in a love triangle with the Landlords? who knows!
What I do know is that he made all these crimes against us just disappear along with $50k worth of personal
property by calling all this sit civil!
We all know that cops can commit crimes right?
Steinert then tells me that because we have been accused of being behind on the rent that the landlords are free to commit all these crimes upon us and that they aren’t really crimes anymore and that they are civil now because of the unproven and unsubstantiated allegations of unpaid rent against us.
These allegations against us deprived my family from getting justice. Since Steinert thought us scum for not paying our rent, the crimes against my family were called civil. Not even civil infractions just a civil matter for us to resolve in court now that we were essentially homeless.
It is now and will always be my contention that these were crimes against my family. Hence the police report, a cry for help for which I was later arrested, with the word “burglary” written at the top by 911 central dispatch call that Steinert made sure no one in the department, including himself responded to.
You see Steinert not only participated in these crimes against us, but he also enforced them[?]. He is and was culpable of the same crimes in my opinion.[?]
Now we have Sheriff Leo ignoring my complaint and refusing to investigate just as undersheriff Tellis had only without the personal drama of shaking it in his fist and threatening me with arrest for disturbing the peace.
So what does this do for Tellis and Leo now that they have refused to take my complaint, a complaint of police misconduct and perhaps criminal activity participated in by Steinert?
Isn't this Aiding and Abetting[?], Isn't this this Harboring a felon[?], Isn't this obstructing justice[?] I call this not doing their freaking job! Am I wrong? No one from the County has the bells to talk to me about this even though the isabellacounty domain hits this site 20 times a day!
See if you or I go into Home Depot with an employee of ours and watch them walk out without paying for $500 dollars worth of tools and do nothing what does that make us?
So cops get to park wherever they want even if it is illegal and the same goes for other police officer crime. So long as it goes unreported, nothing is ever done about it right "Jennifer Wilson"?
Steinert is the only one that can or will come to our aid but he has decided our fate. He decided our fate even before he got to our house to help us. See Steinert either met with or had a pre conference call with the landlord and made the determination that we were scum based on the lies of the landlord before arriving or even responding to our call and we were doomed from the start because Steinert did all the due process in his head before arriving and didn’t listen to a word we had to say once he got there.
In retrospect it was obvious that landlords had started thieving our belongings before Steinert got involved but to what extent? See after our first call and Steinert’s first visit we were told to leave or be arrested. This allowed the landlords to make any number of trips away from the property with our belongings. How many? I really don’t know.
What I do know was that the landlords had plenty of help.
After Steinert’s second trip to our house some several hours later, we ended up with the house and the landlords were courtesly allowed back into our home to fetch any of their belongings they may have left behind. After the landlords were allowed to leave, my wife and I went into the house and freaked. From the driveway as we are calling to report the burglary, we notice trucks parked in the distance waiting for the free to loot again signal.
